I have no power

THIS S U C K S!

I am on the battery on my laptop and picking up someone elses signal!

we are in a complex and 1/2 the complex has pwr the other 1/2 doesnt

LIPA is like umm yea there is no estimate when the pwr is going back on.
DH was saying to my stepmom & dad (they were here looking at proofs when the pwr went) that he wished we had board games.
My stepmom was so funny she was like 9 months from today you will have a baby!!!!! She says a lot of babies come from pwr outages!

I was like nooooooooooooo not yet!

i am moving to the island from brooklyn, once we are married. Do power outages happen a lot on the island? i hate the dark.

we are out now for 2 1/2 hours now. I am sure it will come on in the middle of the night

But we have so much meat in the freezer. We arent opening the freezer or fridge at all. DH wanted water from the brita I was like NOoo odont open the fridge so we went to 7-11 for waters and a slurpee

heh! so basically your choices were 'boardgames or future babies.'

sorry about the outage. hope it clears up soon!

i have been here in LI for all my life. I dont feel there are a lot of outages. I mean today is a crazy hard rain and windy day....but i don think it is alot

ok well still on the laptop battery pack b/c I STILL I HAVE NO F R E A K I N G power!!!!!!

It has been out since 9pm! THis is now almost 12 hours

UGH all the costco meat is going to go bad! We have to go run it over to someone elses freezer

i just checked it our freezer is good they are still frozen solid

so annnnnnnoying

That stinks that you still don't have power! Just keep the freezer closed and it should be fine. That stuff stays solid for a long time.

I went to my moms to bake brownies. I am goi g to a birthday party and I was in charge of brownies.....my oven in the apt is electric DOAH
