I just got my refund from WM. Now I can give it to JT...if they still have my date If they don't i'll just pick another I suppose!! I have no vendors in mind and a loose vision in my head of my wedding. I tried to make my dream cardbox and it looks horrible!! I quit that whole DIY idea. I am ordering it from Modern Bride and saving my time! I want to make my own custom isle runner because I can paint. I jsut don't know where to get the fabric from. Im starting to freak out!!

Don't freak out!! My wedding is two days after your's and all I have is the RH and church booked. Other than that, I haven't done a single thing. We probably won't even start looking at vendors until the beginning of 09. You have time- no worries!!

dont worry i was freaking out a few weeks ago for the same reason but a bunch of the girls talked me off the ledge (thanks rita, gloria and vanessa lol) but dont rush yourself...everyone else is WAY!!!! ahead of schedule. Sit yourself down and figure out what is most important to you and then move from there. Not that I recommend this but i was at a showcase last week and a dj told me they just that day booked a wedding for Feb 09 so worry about getting JT and then go from there. There list of recommeded vendors was awesome so that will help alot

i'm planning a wedding for several months ahead of you maybe even like 9 months haha, and i have NADA booked, just a lot of ideas but nothing solid yet... so don't sweat! it will be all alright

Don't Stress!!! We 2010 girls are lucky because we have a bit of time to go. Everything will fall into place soon enough. Don't worry a lot of girls are in the same boat!

aww don't stress...the only reason i have stuff booked is b/c i was having an 09 wedding and switched-we just got lucky that all our vendors were still available-everything will fall into place

I too don't have much booked (just our RH) and have been kind of freaking out. A nightmare once or twice a week. But after talking to my cousin, who recently planned her wedding in 3 months, and it was BEAUTIFUL, I've relaxed a bit. A friend at work gave me some advice that I thought was helpful, focus on the people who can only do 1 wedding a day - like you photographer, videographer, DJ. There will always be another limo company, and there are a ton of great florists who do a bunch of weddings a day.

Relax. You're doing fine. My best friend planned her entire wedding in 10 months. Plenty of my friends planned a soup-to-nuts wedding in 6 months.
I'm planning ahead of schedule for budgetary reasons only... if we already had a place to live I would have: waited to plan, or got married in 2009.
JT is beautiful and once you book your RH everything will come into place. I go into wedding planning spurts, right now I'm in a 'no planning spurt.'
