I have questions about theknot

This may get pulled............

I never really read the knot boards. Some friends and I were talking about wedding planning boards and most of us agreed that theknot is hard to follow and not so user friendly. But I know other people who practically live on theknot. I go to the Long Island board, start to look for info and then end up back here, where I understand the various chat categories and how to follow the threads.

Is it true that I can make changes so that theknot appears differently on my screen? Is it just that I don't think like a knottie? I am very computer literate but I think I just don't like the layout of the screen.

what do you mean exactly?

you can't change the layout of the site, (as far as I know). You can sort posts by using the link at the top of the board. Is that what you mean?

well, I don't think I realized that I can sort posts. I will have to try it. I think that one of the things I was thinking is that the chat area is only a small part of the screen. Also, Is there anything like FM over there?

they have NO 'FM'

if you right click on a thread title and click on 'open in new window' you can see it in 'full screen' without knottv as well!

you then save this link so you can go directly to it.

it's true though, it's less user friendly and the pages/site take forever to load
