I think I figured out when my shower is. I'm kind of bummed cause I really wanted it to be surprise. And I don't want to tell anyone that I think I figured it out because I don't want them to be disappointed that I'm not surprised. So I had to tell SOMEONE! And that's you girls, lol.
We were invited to a party on 9/13 thru a Facebook event and someone who I know is going to my shower was also invited. She replied that she can't go because she has another party that day. I talked to FH about the invite, and he said, what day is it? So I told him and I said, I'm hesitant to make plans because my MOH said not to make plans for the end of august, beginning of September, lol. He said, yeah if that's what she said then go with that. Wow, real subtle babe. So, I think it's on the 13th, lol.

LOL thats too funny! Just go with the flow... I tell my mom and my sister good luck trying to keep me surprised... I am very good at figuring stuff out

We did a surprise shower for my sister and she was completely surprised. Since her wedding planning was only 3 months, I don't think she was expecting one. I have an awesome video of her coming to her MIL's house and being totally surprised.
If it is your shower (and I usually figure about 1-2 months before the wedding), enjoy it and go with the flow! It's your time :)

I know the feeling, I figured mine out and I felt bad. I kept telling FH that it was my shower and I practiced my surprised face and made him promise not tell anyone I knew. He told me I was crazy and it wasn't the day I was thinking. Turned out I didn't have to feel bad because when I walked into the bar for the 'birthday party' the hostess asked if I was there for the shower so I had her to blame lol. I was still s happy and excited to see what they did and who came out so don't worry that you're not surprised.

What an idiot! Lol I found out to but I can never tell my mom that, she well be so upset! Moh lives in Florida so she was coming up on July to order BM dresses so my mom planned my shower stops my moh. I told my moh to Madge the appointment for a Monday. 4th of July weekend I was at a bbq wirh one of my bm and I told her I was talking tues the 15th off from work for my grandma's one year anniversary to spend time with my fam and go to the cemetery. Well my BM turns around and says I can't take Monday and Tuesday off. I was like oh ok so I guess ill be off Monday too then bc my shower is Sunday lol

Lol just enjoy your day! It's better you know so you can get ready how you want. I wouldn't have cared either way but I told my fmil I would rather it not be a surprise bc I wanted to schedule a hair and makeup appt lol. :) I still had a fantastic time!!!

It might be a blessing in disguise that you know! I'm actually going to request that they tell me the day atleast so that I can get dressed up & stuff. You're going to have a great time either way
