I HAVE TO VENT.. I'm sorry..

OMG.. I cannot stand my FI's cousins, and there mother.. They are the biggest pains I have ever met and SO RUDE.. We went to a hockey game with them yesterday, and during the middle of it, when we're having fun, his cousin asks me if I changed school, and why was I going for Medical assisting, and that it's a bad field to be in, I'm not going to make any money,I should just go to a four year school. I'm wasting my time.. she kept going...and going.. and going... Then I said I'm happy that we're waiting over a year to get married, it gives me time to really personalize and put a lot into our wedding.. she's like, it's too long, your just gonna hate it, and wish you got married right away.. (well, geez, can i do anything right????) Then I want to send out our STD's in May, that is 10 months before the wedding. it's fine.. and she's like, that is way too early... you need to wait until 6 months till the wedding.. whatever.. THEN her sister just got married, and her wedding was horrible.. the food was cold, the DJ was not very good, It just wasn't fun.. or that classy.. On the invite they wrote Black tie optional.. because the place was NOT nice enough to have a black tie event at..so I wore a black dress, and my FSIL wore a really pretty silver pants suit.. it was VERY NICE.. and FI cousin told me yesterday, that she can't believe 'people' wore pant suits to her sisters wedding, when she specifically said black tie optional on her invite.. UGGHH>> be happy she came, she looked better than you.. I just can't deal with them anymore.. who do they think they are.. THEN while we were at FI's brothers wedding, i was drinking my beer out of the bottle, and his aunt (cousins mom) came running over to me grabbed the bottle out of my hand, went poured it in a glass, and said geez, we need to work on you. Don't you know its trashy to drink beer out of the bottle.. that's why they make glasses.. so you look like a lady..
I'm thinking the beer is in a perfectly fine glass already.. ugghhh!!

anyway. I DON'T WANT THEM AT OUR WEDDING.. their trouble.. and annoying, and they are going to gossiping about everything... HOpefully, well, most definately our wedding, will blow them away!!! Honestly, Long Island weddings are the best.. we just put so much into them.. anyway.. thanks for listening

Don't use your wedding as a way to show them up, just plan the perfect day for you and your FH, and if it puts his cousin's wedding to shame, than so be it. lol! But seriously, I think most of us have at least one of these people we have to deal with, so don't feel alone. The best thing to do, is avoid seeing them when you can, and when you do have to deal with them do so to the best of your ability. My FSIL is a horrible person and I say as little as possible to her. I respond if she says something to me, but I make no efforts to go out of my way or spark any conversations with her. Just do your best, and if they push you too far, you may have to just start pushing back.

I think that;s the problem, because i get along with everyone.. I am sensitive, so when things are said to me, I get upset.. as you can tell.. I just HATE people that think they are better than everyonelse, when in all reality their not.. ya know.. it's tough, but I'm sick of trying to GET them to like me.. obviously they think there better than everyonelse.. I'm just aftraid, i'm going to blow up.. and if they ruin my wedding, i will blow up.. MY FH and his mom, and aunt all talk bad about them, so I'm not worried about it.. THANKS
