That on Feb 24th (i forgot what channel) they are starting a spin off series from my Big Fat Greek Wedding. I think it was called my BFG Life.
I'm going to see if I can find details online. I don' t know if it's a reality show or what. I'll let you know

Re: I heard on the Radio
Oh sheesh! you know, once something is good, the networks and media just go to far... That's going a little overboard, JMO.

I heard that too. It's actually a series not a reality show.

Re: I heard on the Radio
I work in TV so I can help you on this... it is going to air Sundays at 830 on CBS, following Becker. They titled it 'My Big Fat Greek Life' and everyone but john corbett signed on from the movie (he's signed on to be in a show on FX). It is going to premiere in its timeslot on 3/02 but I belive they are airing a few days earlier to try to hook a larger audience.....

Re: I heard on the Radio
This is all I could find 'NSYNC's Joey Fatone will appear in six episodes of the CBS series My Big Fat Greek Life, a spin-off of the hit movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Fatone played series star Nia Vardalos' cousin Angelo in the film. The CBS series kicks off February 24th. '
Thanks CatchI22. I still haven't seen the movie...LOL.

I still haven't seen the movie either! I think it is going to be available on DVD soon, so I will prob see it then. I'll prob get the pilot of the show, will post after I viewed it if it is worth watching or not!
am I the only one who didn't LOVE that movie? I thought it was cute - there were some laughs, but I certainly didn't think it was the best movie ever.
I thought they didn't develop the romance enough between the two of them and they got a little too carried away (as brides - can any of you imagine ripping up your dress before the reception?)
The TV show is TOO much.

Re: I heard on the Radio
I actually already preordered the video for when it comes out Feb. 11th.
lisa...I agree with you about the relationship development...but to keep it a reasonable length...I think they wanted to focus on wedding part...
the families are exactly like our wedding (only reversed) I could relate her aunts and cousins to DH's family...maybe thats why I found it so amusing...

Re: I heard on the Radio
Lisa, I totally agree with you...I think I was expecting it to be so much funnier. So many people hyped the movie so hard that I set my expectations for lauging so hard I'd cry.
Well, I definitely laughed at the movie, but I did not think it was as falling down, knee-slapping, giggle til you cry and your make-up runs kind of funny. I was disappointed. Oh well....that's entertainment!
