I hope my child never turns out to be a young PUNK!

Just a vent.

I live in Queens on a one way street.

At the corner of my block is a stop light.

People fly up the block to try and make the light all the time.

Well tonight we get home from a BBQ, go in the house & hear BOOM!

We run out to see a car smashed into the cemetary fence. The car took out the fire alarm box and knock the steel fence almost completely over.

The young punk driving was going so fast (witnesses say 80 mph) that he tried to make the light and turn. He was going SO fast that there weren't even any skid marks! He never got a chance to stop!

By the time I run up to the corner, him (the driver) and his GF were already out of the car, he had a broken leg and she had NO injury! Thank God they didn't kill an innocent bystander or someone walking.

I am so mad at this, and I think they were drinking from what I heard their freinds say!

Why do young kids act this way?
I know when I was younger I did stupid stuff but not like this!

Just needed to vent thanks!

No cops ever showed up in the HALF HOUR we were there?!?!?!?

the 104 is very slow. I live about 4 blocks from them and it takes them forever to get over here if something happens

Of course the drinking part is horrible, but I think anyone who drives that way should suffer the same penalties as DWIs, whether they were drinking or not....it drives me nuts when I see that!!!

I had my car accident and FI beat the cops to the scene. I think they showed up about 20 minutes after he did.

Some of the cops in Queens are slow

If I had kids I would have strangled him tonight!

I said he s/b arrested & his friend mouthed off to me saying not now, I told him to ST F Up and not tell me 'not now', I told him hes lucky his freind didnt kill someone!

Chippa the cops in Queens are the WORST! I have read it several times in the paper. Our precint has the WORST response time in NY!

OMG his friend mouthed off to you? HOLY I would have been arrested for assault because I would have slapped the snot out of him. How can he mouth off like that when his friend could have killed someone

i hope my kids wont be like that...
my grandma still lives in queens and her neighborhood became pretty bad... but she's a foreigner and doesntknow any better so she goes upto people and tells them to 'not keep their property like a jungle'... people who im surprised havent strangled her yet..

Chip thats how I felt!

And thank goodness John didn't hear the punk tell me off, he would have been buried in the cemetary where he had the accident!

It so sad how kids nowadays are.
Not all but alot of them!

Teens are so different than when we grew up!

the 104 is insane....I lived in MV my entire life and if you are bleeding to death they will arrive 2 hours after the fact....I don't know what it is,there are more car accidents in the area and every summer people drive around like maniacs! Do you guys have the kids on scooters riding around to??!!

ome of their officers are not even nice. When I had to pick up my police report for my car accident the ones that were there kept looking at me like what am I doing there and the person at the desk took forever to get me a copy. FI's cousin used to be an auxillary with them and I met her leader and I think he was the only nice person I came across at the preceint.

As someone who just got out of the 'punk kid era' (I just turned 22) let me tell you - even when I was in it and my friends drove like that - I wanted to smack the CRAPOLA out of them! What are they thinking??? Kids on their bikes could be passing by or elderly people taking a walk after dinner or it could be me getting groceries out of my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were times that I was in cars like that with friends or friends of friends type of deal - and once I saw them driving like that - I told them slow down! And if they didn't, I would get out of the car and call my Mommy to come get me - I'm not going to die or kill someone just because some shmo wants to drive so irresponsibly!!

GRRRRRRR Get's me mad just thinking about it!!!!!! I FEEL LIKE I'm 40 - I never understood the fast driving! DAMN TESTOSTERONE! and **** ESTROGEN for when the girls drive like that!
