Thanks to your advice last week - I joined the gym yesterday!!! I am so excited!!!!! I have 3 months left and I can't wait to get into it. I was there yesterday doing cardio for 40 minutes and I was outtt. I guess that's what happens when you're out of shape & out of the gym for 2+ years. But I am getting my bootie back in there and just wanted to share :)
(& its cheap..........$200 for the whole year) cant go wrong there.

its this new gym called Pulse (its not the NYSC) lol but if you want to work out you will ! (know what I mean? lmao) I cant afford to pay $80 a month - and go oh 2x a week - if i really see myself going a lot maybe ill join something better next year :)

its in Sunnyside/Woodside Queens my gf found it and we both joined!!! Its so much better to have a gym buddy :)

Its sunnyside/woodside area of Queens
your in LI right? whwy wont you go to Xport Fitness at Roosevelt Field? I went there last year when I worked in Garden CIty but its tooo far for me now. it was $50 a month but realllllllllllllllllllllly nice

congrats and good luck I have been out of the gym for 2 months I finally went back last night and it felt so good being back in the gym I messed up my knee doing too much cardio so I have to take it easy now

I am paying $250 or so at my gym, it's a small place in Huntington called TONL, just has treadmills, ellipticals, stairmaster, stat. bikes, freeweights, and the big weight machines we all had at the HS gym ... and some exercise balls, etc. Perfect for me. Normally they are $445 a year but I joined through global fit, a program I have access to through my insurance (cigna) - if anyone has global fit I recommend looking into it - you get great deals!

That is awesome!! I actually joined one too. $20 a month, free unlimited tanning, free friend anytime, free message chair, and they pro-rate it if they see you not going a lot or at all. It's planet fitness in centereach. If you don't want the free stuff-$10 a month!!!!

I joined the Y and it's like $20/month and its surprisingly really nice and clean they have everything! TV's on the machines and all. I'm making up for all the money I blew away on my Equinox membership for the years I lived in Manhattan.
