I just booked my first Brazilian Wax......

and I'm a little nervous but I have a few weeks to feel better about it.

Any advice?

you'll be fine. Take a couple of advil or tylenol about 20 minutes before you go. It'll take the edge off. It's honestly not that bad at all. Where are you going?

I am going to Frasada Salon and Spa in Oceanside. Ella is doing it. I heard about that place from some ladies on this site so I thought I would go there since going to Bliss in the city will take too much time.

Where do you go?

I'm a Bliss girl. It's totally a pain to go into NYC but since I started going when I was working there, I guess I'm used to it.

Now I use it as an excuse to get a massage too! I've heard really good things about Frasada though- let me know how it is.

My other concern is that I am not a skinny minnie or even close to it...so it's a little embarassing because I have more down there then most girls. I know TMI! lolol

Oh stop! Im not skinny either and Ive had it done twice. The only reason I wont do it again is because each time I had some kind of allergic reaction

don't worry about being not being a skinny-minnie - I don't think they even look.

It's a little bit embarrassing - but just try to go somewhere else in your mind. That's what I do.

its not that bad...i would take a asprin b4 and just breathe..u will love it after even if it hurts but u will be ok

just take tylenol before and make small talk with her, lol. thats wat i do... i do it cuz i think it makes it a lil less uncomfortable lmao...
its soo worth it tho!

I go to Ella at Frasada - she is awesome. You're literally done in 10 minutes - 15 tops! I'm no skinny minnie either, i don't even think she looks.

FRASADA is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am from LB, so I definitely know Oceanside! Let me know if you like how they did it!!
