We are going to stay at the Marriot in Islandia the weekend after our wedding. FH is going back to school that week so we can't go away, but I wanted a couple day's break. We are going to go on a long trip in January.

They had a really nice, affordable romantic weekend package too. Not that I plan on leaving the room much!!!

Not sure yet about the one in January, we are going to settle that afterwards.. I'd like to go to Disney because I've never been there, but we'll see. I'd love to take a road trip and go to Hershey's and Disney!!

What kind of weekend package do they have?? We are going to take a 'mini HM' too because my fiancee is a teacher. We are taking our 'real' HM the December after our wedding...

We are doing the same thing. We are staying at The Marriott in Uniondale then leaving the next day for Atlantic city and in the summer going on a cruise to Tahiti. Congrats... and order a lot of room service like someone else said.

Congrats!!! I'm another post-poned honeymooner.

Those days after the wedding are the best...no matter where you are. As long as the two of you are together...you'll have a great time!!!

that sounds like a lovely mini-moon!
we're postponing our honeymoon also. we'll spend sat & sun nights at the hotel & then we have to drive home to nj. in december we're going to hawaii for two weeks.
