I just bought FH's wedding day gift. Citi Field is the new Mets stadium that is going to open in 2009. right now they are doing one of those buy a brick programs to get donations for the Mets charity. The Bricks are placed in one area called the Fanwalk. so i bought an 8' by 8' brick that has the mets logo on it and says:

Let's Go Mets!
The
B----- Family
Est. 7*6*08

Obviously, that would be his last name instead of a bunch of lines. I'm so excited!! He is a die hard mets fan. and now we and our future kids and grandkids will have a brick at Citi field. You get a replica brick so my brother is going to bring it with him on the wedding day when the groomsmen are getting ready at FH's house. He is going to give it to him for me then. I'm so happy!!

Oh and what is even better is that its donation so its tax deductable Yipeeee!!!!

Waht a great idea! It will be so much fun to bring your own litttle Mets fans to the stadium one day and show off your gift.

That's so cool! hmmm see FH is a HUGE Met fan and I am a HUGE Yankee fan....I wonder if I could come up with a cute saying, b/c I think he would love that! I wonder how long they will have this opportunity available....
