I just can't.....

DEAL!

So...this is totally NOT wedding related but who better to talk to (write to) than you ladies!

I'm having my 1st open house today and FH is driving me NUTS! He's a basket case!! I put enough pressure on myself and he's usually the calm one but.... WOW!

My condo hasn't even been on the market for 2 weeks and there are a couple of tough variables working against us BUT....i hold very high hopes this will sell fast and I can move into FH's house!

Combining our households has brought it's fair share of tough conversations and i'm so ready for this part to be over....

Thanks for letting me vent....

Awww girlie! I hope everything works out!! If u are interested i would be willing to help you with your open house..i do mortgages for a living so I can help prequalify any potential buyers...I know a good tip is to have good scented candles or decluttering areas...good luck!

awww thanks Amy, that's sweet of you! I was going to try to sell on my own but there's just not enough exposure, so my friend's aunt who has her own real estate company is working with us and has listed the property. Today, I had a yummy Yankee black cherry candle going...

FH is just impatient and worried b/c the longer I have my place, the harder it will be to save for the wedding. We don't agree on my asking price...blah blah blah...I'm just as anxious to move on as he is but we need to give it a shot. I just don't want it to turn into one argument after another you know?

I'm sorry you are under stress at the moment. I hope your place sells quickly so you and your FH can enjoy living in the same home (and save $).

I wish you all the best with the sale. Unfortunately this is not a great market to be selling but if you price it right you may have some luck.

I know you said that it is near the courts. Maybe contact the Suffolk County Bar Association about putting an ad int the Suffolk Lawyer. I am not sure how much it costs to do that but maybe a young lawyer who goes to court a lot would be perfect.

that sounds like a nice idea! I'm going to tell my realtor about that! She already mass emailed a flyer to all the admin. at Touro college and the Ducks stadium. I know she mentioned doing something with the court but I'll email her first thing in the morning!
