On Friday FH and I went to Hempstead to get our marriage license. All was going well and then we sat down to actually sign our marriage license and I couldn't do it. She asked me if I was taking FH's last name and I just sat there in silence saying 'umm..' She left us alone for about 5 minutes and then I called her back and told her I couldn't do it.
I had to hyphenate it! Marriage License... CHECK!

If I hyphenated our two big Italian last names, I wouldn't be able to sign it. Too much!!! Just want to change our last names to like Ray or something short and easy.
