I totally just logged into my mothers email and read the convo between her and MOH about my shower.
i KNOW everyone yell at me! I'm always saying how I don't want anything to do with it.... but hey i'm curious!
well it ends up they're are most likely doing it at a restaurant I really don't like. WTH do I do now?
I'm thinking of making a list of places and giving it to my mother and saying I got bored at work and figured I'd help her out.. but then again, I don't want to help. I really wanted it at the gatsby, but they didn't even contact them.

You can do that but if the email was just sent today between the 2 of them I would wait a day or so, so it doesnt look too obvious! Unless your mom doesnt know u have her pw then you can do it today!

If you had been surprised no matter how much you hate a place I bet you would have felt differently bc it would have been YOUR shower.

If you don't like the restaurant, either do what you said or maybe bring it up casually that you don't like the place she chose.

oh no.. i did REALLY bad... see my mother makes me log her in for everything, so I have her password on EVERYTHING! and well I totally logged into your yahoo mail (from work) and SEARCHED for the convo that took place about a month ago! I know I did a bad bad bad bad bad thing!
but the worst part is- my mother KNOWS I hate that place! but SHE likes it there.
one of my BMs knows that I want the gatsby, I could always tell her to hint that when my moh calls her.

i would probably mention something about how i don't like that restaurant .... 'my friend just invited me to go to so-and-so restaurant with her and some other people but i don't think i'll go because i don't really like the food there'

I don't want a shower... because I dont want it to be a burden on anyone, not because I dont want one. I just let curiosity get the best of me. and you're all right, now I have to suffer!

FSIL got a price quote from there for her sons communion for a sit-down dinner with the same amount of people and its about $3.00 more per person. Now I'm having a brunch buffet. so I imagine the price is less. and she was having a saturday night, I'd be having a sunday afternoon.

I would just be happy that they are planning anything. A shower is not mandatory and you should be grateful to have family and friends that are planning anything for you. Complaining about it to them might make you seem ungrateful and maybe hurt their feelings. I would just stop snooping and wait to be surprised.
