I just dropped $ 115 on shoes.

Yep. That is sooooo not me to do something like that. Me?? Janie?? BLOW $ 115 on a pair of shoes??? NEVER

Heres the situation.

I have a wedding to attend on Oct. 1. Afer searching only a gazillion stores for a dress, I FINALLY found one that I loved... well...liked NOT loved. (I need to be clear!)

Okay. try to close your eyes & visualize..

The dress is black, halter..to the floor form fitting & mermaids out on the bottom. Being that its halter, its low cut (obviously) Theres a broach right where the ' V ' connects. I kind of feel a little 'open' being that god was generous when he gave me boobs. needless to say, the dress is nice.. just a little open for what Im used to.

Anyway.. I went to Lord & Taylor on my lunch break today to check out dresses (ONE LAST TIME) Figures, all the dresses I loved was too expensive, so I said 'FRIG IT ' Im just going to wear the DAMN BLACK DRESS I HAVE. So.. Im on my way out of the store (all pissed off because Im stuck with this dress.. I could swear to you that its just not meant for me to find another dress) and I pass the shoe department and BANG.!! The damn shoe hit me in the face. IT CALLED OUT TO ME! Im not lying. These shoes lured me to pick it up. They matched the dress exactly. It had the rhinestones to match my dress perfect. I saw the price $110 and was like ' Yeah okay ' But still... the shoe remained in my hand. Why?? I have no friggen clue. So what happens now?? The sales associate asked me what size I am. Instead of putting the shoe down.. I said 'Size 8 please. ' She brings the shoe back and I try it on. So friggen comfortable. They looked gorgeous on.

SOLD.



So now I have a dress Im not 100% happy about and GREAT SHOES.

I dont have a pic of the shoes, but they are Calvin Klein Style # E3910.. gorgeous.

Bad me. Impulse shopping cant possibly be a healthy thing.

I think this is fine if you never do it... I think if this was a daily thing, then you would have a problem! LOL!

I THINK ITS FINE IF YOU DONT ALWAYS SHOP FOR SHOES THAT ARE THAT MUCH...JUST SAY THAT YOU SPLURGEDA LITTLE BIT.

Well, I have found that it is worth it to spend money on shoes. My foot has been the same size for at least 15 years so I don't think it's going to grow any more, so some well-made shoes will last me quite some time. You can't go wrong with Calvin Klein - his stuff lasts forever!

It's not too bad if you don't do it too often!! Sounds like they were really worth it, so it's ok to splurge, you deserve it!!!

You didn't buy a new dress so you can afford to spend money on the shoes. Because we all know that if you found a dress you would have to get new shoes anyway.

I would feel such guilt about that..I have such a problem with spending money these days...I used to not have a problem with it but lately I do..whats wrong with me???
