I just found out....

My BEST FRIEND since we were 15 just called to tell me that her boyfriend PROPOSED last night!!!! He had told me last Fri. that he picked up the ring and I couldnt call her alll week because I didnt want to blow the surprise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He got her a 1.73 ct princess solitiare!!!!! I am sooo happy for them! Hopefully she will be on LIW soon!!!

Anyway, FH and I are going out with them tonight to celebrate. I know they are prolly gonna have an engagement party, but I still want to give them a little something tonight. They don't live together yet, so I am kinda running short on ideas. FH suggested a precious moments statue. What do you guys think. All ideas are welcome!!! Thanks

I got my friend who recently got engaged a subscription to Brides and Bridal Guide along with a cute card. Something small but useful for wedding planning!

Go to Borders and buy her a 'wedding planner' binder. I love mine! It is a 3 ring binder and have folders for flowers, music, reception, etc. A place to write notes down and budget work sheets. A place for business cards, etc.

Yeah the precious moments is a great idea..FH's mom gave us the one with the little boy on his knee and he is holding a little blackboard, although its white lol, that says yes and no on it and the girl has chalk in her hand, and the ring is beside him.

you guys are going to have such a great time planning together. my best friend and i got engaged ONE DAY APART ( she beat me by a day)-- and no our FHs had NO IDEA. . . and it has been the best! then many of our other friends joined our cult!

Basically same here I got engaged on April 22nd of last year and my best friend got engaged 4 days after me!!!!
