I just got a crazy phone call from my Bridezilla from hell friend. Yikes!

I lost contact with this girl a while ago. I was in her wedding a couple of years ago, and she was the worst bridezilla I've ever seen. Long story short, she treated me like total s**t for her whole wedding and never sent me a thank you. I never sent her a gift. After that, we didn't speak much. She left me a voicemail at work today out of the blue. I called FH right away and he says we have to add her to the list. Yikes! I called her back and got her address, but I was hoping to avoid her until after the wedding. I've also told all my friends about her horrible bridezillaness, and now they'll meet her in the flesh. Help!!

I dont get it. Is dosent sound like you want to renew your friendship with this girl. Why would you feel in the least bit obligated to invite her your wedding?

when was her wedding? if it was over a few years ago, and you and she didn't talk AT ALL since her wedding, then i wouldn't bother inviting her. friendship goes both ways - and her not writing a thank you note for being in her wedding is rude.

but since you got her address now from her, i guess she figures she's invited. pretty crafty of her to call you now that she knows your're getting married!

I wouldn't invite her if it were me. If you don't want to be friends with her, who cares what she thinks. h

She got married 3 years ago, but we still talked and visited each other a bit (she lives upstate) but not nearly as much as we used to. She's a pretty control-freaky person any way, but she seemed to be on turbo control frek during the planning of her wedding. I think I'll invite her anyway, but I have no idea if she'll come. I couldn't get an idea on the phone. Oh well.
