I just got a SCAM phone call!!

I just got a SCAM phone call!!

From 21st Century Today's Brides! They told me I won a vacation and a $500 gift certificate! Me, the dork that I am, is all excited about it and FI is like - SCAM!!!

We checked it out on the internet and low and behold - SCAM CITY!

Just wanted to give u girlies a heads up!!

Gotta love late night crappy phone calls!

I got the same exact call. They wanted us to come to some kind of 'show' all day to look and review products or some junk. FH and I were going away that weekend anyway but it sounded way too good to be true. It has actually happened to me a couple of times. Now I'm used to the routine and I just blow them off.

I have gotten this call multiple times, if you don't answer the phone they keep on calling it is beyond annoying.

I too am one of those girls who HAD that problem. After they called numerous times, I told them to take me off their call list or else. And I haven't gotten a call since!!

i got the same call last week telling me i won a 3 day avaction and a $500 gift certificate. so i posted on BHB to see if anyone could validate the company and lo and behold all the girls told me that it was a scam and to be careful. so i called them back and told them i would not be attending the show and to take me off their list. wouldn't u know the day after they called again with the same pitch? it's insane how many people there are out there trying to rip people off like this

I was engaged in the past and I remember that i signed up for things and even after what our date was to be i was still receiving phone calls and letters in the mail, which is why i never use my address or phone number when signing up to things now. I put my email address and if they need to get in touch with me that is the only way.

I received a phone call from them too on my way home from work last night!!!

She tried three times for my wedding date - so I told her if she really did have all my information then she could mail it to me...I didn't have time to talk...

They tell you that it's from a Bridal Showcase - but my first one was on Sunday - and I didn't put my CELL PHONE number on anything but my contract. So if they gave it out - I will be rather upset...
