No surprises for me. I don't like surprises very much and I wanted to be able to get an outfit and actually do my hair (instead of having it in a ponytail like most Saturdays). My BM's promised me that they would tell me when it is but they insisted on keeping the location a surprise. So the invite was a special one that they made just for me and it told me what day and what time to be ready. The invite said that my FH will be escorting me to the Shower. It's the best of both worlds.
I agree with you - All I asked was to know the date - I don't want to know any details but since I know I am getting a shower I figured it would be fine to know the date.
