if my cousin can bring her 2 kids to the wedding...i feel bad saying no but we really cant afford to pay for all the kids and if i say yes to her that means i have to say yes to everyone else which means 30 kids at my wedding = a circus

DO NOT SAY YES!!!!! people have nerve asking to bring kids. if you allow her to bring the kids then others might wonder why they couldnt bring theirs. im speaking from experience. be firm and dont give in!!!!!

my grandmother, kept asking me if my cousins could bring their daughters...i just keep saying no. once you say it once- it just gets easier :)

Bottom line is you have to be honest. I had people saying oh I dont know if we can come because we have no one to watch so and so but, they found someone. I was not letting them bring their kid, they will find away.

so i have a ? about this topic, what do u do when the family is from out of state? how can you tell them no to bringing there kids when they dont have anyone here to watch the kids....
i sent out my invites and i have cousins from out of state and i put mr and mrs on invite and the rsvp came back total to attend 3, 2 adults 1 child..
what can i do, if i say no kids then they probably wouldnt be able to come

Same thing, if you don't want kids hire a sitter, then no one has an excuse

I would just say i'm sorry we just don't have the budget to invite children i've been going thru this with my fmil she wants to invite tons of ppl but doesn't get that we just don't have no money for all these ppl. Maybe they'll back off.
