it was in Ohio and it was my cousins wedding. She is very untraditional and not all into weddings like we all are. But it was a fun time and it was pretty! But can I just say that the DJ wore a cowboy hat, and it was a dj/kareoke mix and sometimes he would sing the music instead of playing the actual song. And they ended the wedding by playing Im Proud to be an American.... but that was all the DJ I don't think she asked for that! And not that its a bad song- but not appropriate to end your wedding with!

My FSIL is getting married in Iowa...I've never been to that part of the country so I'm curious to see what it's like, especially a wedding. Everything here in NY seems so extravagant but out there it seems more laid back.
Should be a nice wedding though.

Friends of our got married in October and ended their wedding with the same song. I thought it was really nice and not inappropriate at all.

I have been to a wedding here on LI where the DJ sang a few songs. I thought it was WEIRD. He wasn't singing good stuff either (in my mind) - it was Tom Jones I think (Hey Deliliah????). If it had been a real upbeat song, wiht lots of background beats, it might have been good. But it was like bad karaoke.
