I just got back from the Extreme Homemakover house...

I just got back from the Extreme Homemakover house...

I only work a few block away so I drove over to where the house is. I had to park a few blocks away and walk over. It was so CROWDED!!!! I was able to see Ty really quick and I saw Michael and Paige. They were filming the husband leaving with the kids in the limo. Oh and 'the bus' was there too! I heard people talking and they were saying that demolition should be on Friday.

so do they always knock downthe house now? I thought they just added on, re-did. etc, except in cases like that one that was all burnt down.

The original house is small so they are definetly going to knock down and rebuild! I am at work so I upload my pictures yet. I might go back tomorrow...its my day off!

Its in St James right off of Lake Avenue, the street is Grove Street

I just talked to a resident of Grove Ave, and she said it's packed! You have to park at least 2 blocks away & they're going to be even more strict at night.
I just heard you must have passes to get past a certain area (which makes sense).
Perhaps I'll see some of you around the area during the next week.

On that section of Lake Avenue between Route 25 and Woodlawn, there are no stores.

Yep! Grove is on the opposite side of Woodlawn...going towards Middle Country Road

take middle country road to lake avenue (there will be a carvel on your left ) and make a right onto Lake Avenue. you can only go a short distance and then they detour you off of lake. Good luck trying to find a place to park. They are giving out tickets like crazy. Dont try to park on Sherwood Road (or Drive) there are no parking signs everywhere. I did and when I got to the corner the cop told me to move they were giving out tickets.
