Ive been having really bad pain in my lower right side of my stomache, i knew something wasnt right. so today was the worst pain ever so i went to the emergency room. they told me my ovary is swollen and i have a large cyst (sist) on my ovary. they usually can give you medicine to get rid of it, but mine is too large and ive had it too long for medicine to work. so they gave me pain killers to take home, and i have to go monday to my gyno to get more testing done. they said ovarian cysts are rarely cancerous but in some cases large cysts are cancer. i just want everyone to pray for me, because this sort of stuff is really scary. i might need sugery to get it cut out, so i hope thats all that happens.

I'm so sorry to hear this - today must have been so scary and I will be praying that everything works out okay. I also hope that you're feeling a little less pain now and that your FH takes good care of you.

Awww.... I'm sure you will be fine!!!!! I've had them before...not bad enough to need surgery but my mom had a few removed that were very large when she was younger.

I am sorry! You have had so much stress lately! My sister had the same situation about a year ago and had to get surgery to remove the cyst and ovary. She was recuperating for several weeks. I also had a friend who had this surgery several years ago and she just had a baby. Just rest knowing that this is fairly common and rarely cancer.

Leslie you will definetly keep you in my prayers girl. There is nothing that can make someone worry and stress more than that dreaded 'C' word. Keep us posted and in the mean time load up on those meds, no sense in feeling pain if you don't have to.

hang in there.... i recently went through this right before my wedding with a large lump in my breast... i had to have surgery and luckily everything was fine.... i know how you feel...good luck FM if you want to talk.
