I Just Got Back from the Westbury Manor Showcase

And I am sooo happy. I love WM. The food was delicious, the gardens were beautiful and the staff was super friendly. We even got to see a white peacock with its baby and a regular peacock. I had the rice balls for the first time tonight and now I am addicted. They were so addicting. I really enjoyed the stuffed artichoke hearts too. Mmmm. Don't get me started on the chocolate fountain either. I must have gained 5lbs. LOL

I saw the white peacock, but i didn't see the baby one. i also saw 3 birds, one which kept whistling, and 2 of the other peacocks. WM is beautiful. I want to get married now, I don't want to wait until March.

I was there too! and i saw the baby ~ so cute!

Everything was great except the cake
It was so dry and blah.

I also went to see the hill room and I'm now disappointed.

I don't know why it just doesn't look the way i pictured it. I had this different picture of it on my head (I booked the room about a year ago). But now I don't like it.

I don't know what to do??

What about the room dont you like? Do you think if you add some flowers or other decorations it would help? What about uplighting? All of these things can change the entire look of the room

I'm adding the uplighting and flowers. I guess I didn't notice that the ceiling was soo low (Don't know how I didn't see this before). But since we were there yesterday and really took our time to look around without having the BM rushing us, I noticed a few things (the ceiling, the lamps on the wall, etc.....) But i guess I'm stuck with it since my wedding is iin3 months.

it will look different all decorated. A lot of places have low ceilings. Don't worry!

I agree, those rice balls were awesome! And those potato wrapped shrimp were fantastic too! I can't wait!! FH and I left there and were so happy with everything, we can't wait!

I didnt see the potato wrap shrimp. I was looking for it. It was delish last time.
