Its not all that fun, i'll agree!! Everyone arrives and sits around waiting for the bride. She comes in, everyone yells surprise, she is totally embarrassed. She walks around and says hello to everyone. Then you eat. Then the bride positions herself into present opening mode, which takes forever and gets really boring for guests. While she opens gifts usually there are some games played. Then after gifts are finally done (I have never been to a shower where it took the bride any less than two hours to open all gifts) she cuts the cake. Everyone has their cake and coffee, the bride goes around and thanks everyone and thats sorta it!! It is fun if you are the bride. But can get boring for the guests!!
I agree that bridal showers are boring but I have to say that every guest at my shower told my mom and sister that my shower was the most fun that they ever had at showers. They made booklets of games for everyone to do while they were eating and everyone had so much fun doing them.
SOme makes the bride a hat out of the ribbons, bows and wrapping paper. Then the bride has to put on the hat. If the was something about Fortunoffs, it means that's where she's registered. You don't have to go there for the gift. You could also get what u want.
Oh drab. Well, I guess I can officially say that I don't want a Bridal Shower. I don't want to bore my guests. Maybe we can have it at a spa or something.
