I just got my student teaching assignment!

I have been so worried about where I would be placed for my student teaching assignment this Fall.. and it came in the mail today and I am so excited!!!! Bellmore-Merrick here I come! Sorry I just had to share.... finally I can see the light at the end of this very long tunnel! Masters is almost finished!

Aww.. thanks! I know I'm going to be sooooo very nervous. But it's all very worth it when that degree is in my hand. I've worked my butt off! Hopefully I'll find a job after.

Don't be nervous....just go in with an open mind. Oh see if you can help your first assignment teacher set up his or her classroom before the school year starts. I did this and it helped me to get acquanted with the teacher and the school BUT also helped me to see how to set up a classroom and things like that!!

I will be teaching Secondary (7-12) Science.. Can't wait!

Congrats!!!! I was so nervous waiting for my placement this spring...and its almost over!!! One more week to go!!!

I didn't realize that you were doing secondary...not sure how much they have to set up in their rooms...but it won't hurt to ask. I thought you were doing Elem Ed.
