I JUST GOT PULLED OVER. JUST FOR THE SAKE OF BEING PULLED OVER. DIDN'T EVEN GET A TICKET.

I was leaving work at 11 pm. My best friend was with me. We car pooled. I pulled out of the parking lot. I saw a cop waiting to turn and he turned right after me. I saw him behind me. So I MADE SURE I GOT TO THE STOP SIGN AND STOPPED SAID S-T-O-P-1-2-3. Got to the corner where there is a 7-11 so I made sure I didn't block the driveway while I waited for the red light. Turned left onto Sunrise highway. Turned into the left lane. (im telling I did everything by the rules) I got like 3 ft and he turned on his lights. I got over to the right. He got on his speaker thing and saud ' pull on the grass' So i did. It took him three minutes to get out of the car. Im sure he was running my plate. I have a clean license no accidents no tix (except for the one in FL but that doesnt count here). I put my hands on the wheel he came over to the car and said 'where are you coming from' I told him work and he was 'where is that' I told him. Then he said 'license' so while i was getting it out I said did I do something wrong. and he said 'NOPE' I was like ok. (still getting my license out) he said you are from 'levittown right' I said yeah. and he said o Im lookin for a couple of girls from levittown in a similar car. I handed him my license he looked at and said 'drive safely' that was it. W T F WAS THAT ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is BS...did you get his badge #?? What a power trip!! You should make a complaint to the precinct!

Don't take it to heart, if you matched the description of some suspects in crime then be thankful that the cops are out there looking for them diligently.

Be happy you didn't get a ticket!! Don't be too upset, he said they were looking for two girls in Levittown and you just happen to have been two girls driving in Levittown!! The cop was only doing his job and trying to keep you safe!!

It's aggravating but maybe there was a report of 2 girls stealing a car in Levittown or something???

Or maybe he's a d!ck and wanted to pull you over to see what you'd do. Or was bored. Or didn't realize you had a friend in the car with you.

But for now take it for what he said. However I would always car pool that late at night (which I'm sure you do) jsut to be on the safe side.

Was it a marked or unmarked car???

I know a couple of kids who got arrested because they got one of those flashing red lights and a costume uniform (complete with badge) and had some fun in their parent's crown vic.

I wouldn't worry abotu it. It sounds like he really WAS looking for someone, and the fact that you did everythign by the book probably made him even more suspiscious!

Funny thing is that I work in Seaford and he saw me pull out of the parking lot of my job in Seaford. And I was headed towards Bellmore cause after I got married that is where I moved to but havent made it to DMV yet (well actually I did but there were 101 people ahead of me). It took him three minutes to get out of the car which means that he probably didnt run my plate until after he pulled me over. Then when I asked him 'did i do something wrong' He said 'nope' and that it was 'umm ummm we are looking for a couple of girls from levittown in a similar car' I really think he was just trying to find something to give me a ticket!
