I just got that blade thing for shedding..

and let me tell you - IT WORKS! Holy Cow! Asia's been shedding all over me, the house...she eats her hair - it's gross! So, on a recommendation from a neighbor I got the shedding blade and it worked great! POUNDS of hair came off and she liked it alot better than the regular brush!

they have differnt sizes for short hair/long hair, etc.. I would try it - I couldn't believe how much hair came off! I got mine at petco for 9.99

she has soooooooooooo much hair coming off of her!!!! it's kinda gorss and embaressing espcecially when you have company coming over andyou see them covered inthe hiar!!!

Oh, I know that feeling...I have my couch covered in BLANKETS because she lays up there and leaves a hair shadow of her entire body behind! I figure it's easier to wash the blankets than clean the couch everyday.

And, my house is like the sahara desert - hair balls rolling around all over the place! And when we pet her, it comes off in clumps. BUUUUUUTTT...since doing this thing today - hardly any are left on the blankets or us!!

that sounds awesome! Golem hasn't really started shedding crazy yet, but I'd love to be prepared for it when he does! Do you know what it was called, or is there a pic on Petco.com? We're going to the new one that just opened near us in Levittown and I'd liek to pick it up, since Golem just wants to eat his brush!! Thanks!

I have a shedding blade. It's great! Use it outside though cause a lot of hair come out.

It's a shedding blade. It's in the grooming section. It looks like it hurts, but she loves it...and if Golem is anything like Asia - you're in for it! SHe didn't shed last summer when she was a baby - but this summer - holy cow!

okay, I'm keeping this in mind - I think we are just having a lucky first year with Golem so far....but I have the feeling that we're in for a lot more in the years to come!

We did it 1x a day the first, 2nd & 3rd day. Now not as much is coming off so I'll probably do it every other day or so until it stops. I'm glad it worked!!!
