FH just called me and said that his mother just called him (she's in Vegas this week) - she's soooo excited and couldn't wait to tell him that she bought him professional poker chips!
Now, I've posted on several threads that I'm getting FH a custom table and chips for his wedding present (he already has a nice watch, won't wear cufflinks, etc. - and he's REALLY INTO POKER) - and FMIL KNEW THIS - I know for a fact that she knew this, because she was amazed that I could get such a thing on the Internet. We talked about it just last week.
I AM SO INSULTED! She's trying to show me up, AGAIN.
I got so upset over this, I started bawling and had to pull over on the Northern State Parkway because I couldn't see through my tears. I don't know why!
I think it irritated me more that FH didn't tell his mother that she crossed the line. She's overstepping her boundaries.

I got all pissy and said, 'I'M FED UP! I'm calling her to tell her that she's ANNOYING AS HELL, SIL's $hitbag husband is NOT a groomsman, and her co-workers are NOT WELCOME!!!!'
I didn't do it though. It's kinda funny now....

Does FH know what she did? I would have him speak to her so you don't say something that you will regret later in life. I do agree that she was completely out of line, but you will have this over your head if you don't act the better of the two of you. Let her be the psycho MIL, not the bitter wife.
