I owe about $160 to the state. My return check was mailed to me today. I checked on www.irs.gov. They tell you when your check is expected to be mailed as long as you know your SS#, how you filed (single, married, etc.) and how much your return is for. I've yet to mail out my tax check but I am hoping that I will get my return on Monday, deposit it on Tuesday and take my state payment to the post office on Thursday. What a master plan!
