I just have to say....

my students are so cute sometimes. I have a website that I made for them. There is a guest book on their that they can put their 'spanish' name so that I know they have been there. It is so cute when they try to use their Spanish to leave me a message. Sometimes their mistakes are just toooooooo cute and funny.

Jamie...you should be proud! Anna wrote some very sweet words about you. You are a wonderful caring person...this even brought tears to my eyes!!!

The enthusiasm you show for teaching and for your students reminds me of my MOH, who is also a Spanish teacher. She LOVES her kids, and they love her.

OMG girls thank you so much for your kind words!!! I cannot begin to tell you how much they touched me.

My 1000+ babies are very special to me and always will be!!! I love and adore my time with them. Yes, it can be frustrating and emotionally draining at times but to have one child (this happened today at an after school event) sit down away from his friends and smile at you and say, thank you! it makes it all worth it!

Can I just add that I agree with all of the girls. It's very hard to have such enthusiasm when you are a teacher. I think it's very easy to get overloaded, but you really have a great attitude and great dedication! I wish all the teachers in my school were the same way!

On a cute note, one of my little second graders raised her hand during a music bingo game today and when I called on her, she said, 'Miss R....., Youw face is weally, weally cute when you smile!' I thought it was ADORABLE! (mind you, she does not have a speech impedement, just a case of the I'm acting like a baby-s) I love kids

Jamie I know why your kids love you so much!! Because they know you truly care about them. They are so very fortunate to have you there to guide them!

Jamie, its SOO TRUE! I even meant to post when you said you missed your students after the break and kinda wanted to get back! (I think I was caught up in other LIW drama then )
But it really is great to read your posts and see your amibition, your true LOVE for your job and your students and how seriously you take that 'power of learning' . I cant wait to teach and see that 'magic moment' that teachers have talked about, when something 'clicks' and you just taught something to a child, possibly changing their lives forever. You never know, it could be ONE THING they learn from you that will determine their future hobbies, passions, careers and dedications for the rest of their lives.. and not to mention the way you treat them will make them feel like special individuals for many many many years to come...
