I just have to say...

I can't believe how much flowers are!!!!!!! They are SOO not important to me and I am dreading my appointment at Roots on Sunday because I think it's going to throw me over the edge!!

Is anyone doing DIY centerpeices? Would it be cheaper to buy the flowers and have them made somewhere else or DIY????

I don't want to spend alot of $$$$$ on flowers. I have my heart set on other 'fun' things for my guests

DIY is a little difficult with real flowers because you really have to do it the night before and drop them off at the catering hall. It's just a lot more stress for you...unless you don't do flowers. If you do a tall glass centerpiece with decoration at the bottom and a tall pillar candle, you could DIY.

If you search online, you can buy the big glass hurricane vases in bulk...just a thought.

Try Setauket Floral. I went to a few other places and was blown away by prices and Setauket Floral's quote was way less. They are so nice too.

i went with hidden essence and got an unbelievable deal. granted i'm not doing floral centerpieces, but i may be adding flowers; and she's amazing. great to work with, super nice and amazing price wise. she's a vendor on here and she's a vendor for TWOTY.
