I just lurked onto LIF.

I'm getting NOTHING done today. Thanks, Pearl Jam, for making me a spazz case.

So I went onto LIF.

I'm a-scared to be a grown-up now.

I told FH that if if IF we have a baby (huge IF for us)...then he damn well better give up alcohol and caffiene for those 9 months too. I will not go it alone.

But IMO a little bit of alcohol and caffiene isn't bad for the baby. So we'll have small amounts. No boozin it up though for either of us.

my friends husband did that. he didn't drink any alcohol for the entire 9 months & now with baby #2 on the way he is doing the same. when i told FH, he said he is going to need to alcohol to mentally prepare for putting up with me for 9 months.

Not with the proper epidural!! The epidural can fix everything. But if you must go natural, without any drugs, like i did with my first child, it's still not too bad...it's like taking a large #2 actually.

I'm so freaked about epidurals. I'd have to go it natually, or at least on drugs I can swallow. I'd feel more in control of it.
Love the parallel between that and taking a big dump. Doesn't sound so bad now!

I totally 2nd that. With the right meds its a piece of cake. I had 2 ce sections and had no issues and very little pain. I opted for the 2nd one. When the time comes for you guys it will be as natural as it was for us that already have kids and dont worry ladies....YOUR MEN WILL STEP UP TO THE PLATE
