LOVE LOVE LOVE El Gaucho!!!
I didn't eat at the Flying Fishbone, but I've heard great things about it. You sit right on the water.... We ate at Simply Fish at the Marriott hotel- If I can find my picture (which is my screen saver- I'll post the view from our dinner)

Great steak at El Gaucho and the flying fishbone is fun, with singing waiters and show. If you have time eat at Swiss Chalet, my favorite restaurant in Aruba. You will have a great time on your HM!

I am not a steak fan but I have to say the steak at El Gaucho is amazing!!!! It is huge and excellent. We had reservations and had to wait about a half hour but it was soooo worth it. Not sure if your interested but across the street is a cigar lounge. My fiance is a cigar buff (I hate the smell) but he really wanted to go in, so we went. It was so much fun. The drinks are great, they had an amazing jazz band playing too. The smoke did not bother me at all. We had a great time there. Not sure the name but it is directly across the street from El Gaucho. The martinis are great. Have fun, I did.

El Gaucho was YUMMY, you'll definitely enjoy it. We didn't eat at the Flying Fishbone. You should also try the italian restaurant up on the cliff next to the Lighthouse, can't remember the name right now, that was really good and the view at sunset is beautiful. We also enjoyed Amazonia, it is a Brazilian steakhouse with all you can eat meat.

El Gaucho is a GREAT steak place. But a nice high end, more romantic option is the Chalet suisse. REALLY good food! Not to be missed!

We got there a little early (our reservation was at 8PM) and they sent us across the street to wait (there's no waiting room).

We loved Flying Fishbone! It was great. We thought El Gaucho was nice, but definitely not the best steak house we've been to. I agree with everyone else about Chalet Suisse, it's yummy! Have a great time.

Re: I JUST MADE DINNER RESERVATIONS FOR OUR TRIP TO ARUBA.
Does it get that crowded at the places in Aruba that we need advance reservations?
Where are you staying?
We booked the Radisson Honeymoon package, which is mucho $$$, but we might drop it down to just the plain oceanview room. Not sure its worth double the money for the package. Any thoughts?

The best places we ate in Aruba were El Gauchos' and Chalet suisse. But then again, it seemed like everywhere we ate there was excellent. Didn't have any complaints about anything in ARuba!!
