I just read the saddest story on CNN...

I was hysterical crying, I couldn't read past the second paragraph....those poor people in New Orleans, I really feel for them.

I agree, it's just so devastating

I read that too, and it hurts my heart. I have two cats and cannot imagine having to leave them behind to starve to death. We'll be making a donation to the ASPCA for those pets.

Exactly, that's all I kept thinking about was my poor baby (my dog)...I would have stayed, I could NEVER have left him behind.

Ant and I were just talking about this. I would really be devastated...I could never imagine leaving Mr. Blue behind. My heart and prayers go out to all those suffering as well as the animals.

the idea of having to leave your pet behind is just heartbreaking. my two fat cats are family!!!

and can you imagine being the one who has to tell the people that they can't bring their pet? I can understand that they have to have rules - but it must be so awful.

now I have to go wake up sophie and gracie - who are sunning their bellies on the windowsil and give them hugs.
