i can get my marriage license now!!!!

of course i still haven't received my BC bak from the passport office yet

what do you think? should i apply for a new one to get the marriage license with? or will they accept other forms of ID?

FH and I went to the Marriage License Bureau in Queens and only needed our Driver's License. I believe all of the 5 Boroughs only require the DL!! HTH!

Thanks for posting this - I just assumed all I would need was a DL - according to the info in this site, this is what is needed:

Proof of Age and Identity
A person is required to establish proof of age and identity by submitting to the issuing clerk one of the following age related documents:

Birth Certificate
Baptismal record
Naturalization record
Census record

And one of the following identity related documents:

Driver's license
Passport
Employment picture ID
Immigration record

It seems like every office has different requirements.

FH and I are bringing our birth certificates just in case, along with our passports and driver's license.
I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I would go get another BC...it doesnt cost that much and it only takes 5 minutes to get it if you go to the town hall that you were born

thanks, i was thinking of doing this, but i was born in georgia. i wonder how long it would take to get a BC from there?
