I had really wanted to get married on the 20th. Our first date was on June 19th, 1999, so I really wanted the wedding to be that weekend. Besides father's day, it is the anniversary of my brother-in-law's father's death, so we decided it would be better to postpone a week.

we found out that one family we were inviting can't come cuz the daughter is graduating college... on May 9th... on Mothers Day???? can this be right??? who graduates on Mothers day?

no one has the same day as me either! i thought it would be a popular day for teachers because it's right before a big long april vacation! but i guess not. And it's a Saturday too!
look at it this way - less competition for vendors on your day!

What I think is funny is that no one here has my date, yet I have called a bunch of vendors who were booked already. I wish I knew who shared my day, but they didn't join LIW

Noone has my date either - the Friday of Labor Day weekend, 2003. Quite a few have that weekend tho...

I have not heard of anyone having my date either. Although, when I went to look at 2 of the million bands I was looking at, they were already booked. (this was back in Jan)
