We just booked our flights to Kauai using our American Airlines miles and the total cost for both of us was $20 (processing fee).
If we had purchased the tickets with $ instead of miles it would have cost $3,600 a piece for our Business & First class seats. ($3,600 x 2 = $7,200)
Now I am REALLY excited!!
OK, if you want to get technical, I saved $7,180.

YAY! Thats how we booked our HM too. Mom graciously gave us miles that she was going to use to travel with Dad. they went to Hawaii on their 25th Anniversary which was 25 years ago. Maybe we will go back in 25 years!

Wow - that's awesome!! I can't believe those seats cost that much money...damn. I wonder if my parents have some miles they can spare. First class to Hawaii sounds dreamy!
