I just signed up for my first thing w/ my married name
My HS sent out cards because they're doing an alumni directory and they were asking me questions, and they said 'do we need to change your name' so i said, no. later, it came up that the book wouldn't be published until August...
And i was like, well, in that case, I'll be married
So, along w/ my maiden name, I'll now be cross referenced as Mrs. Debra H.
and after all this i'm not even getting the book because it costs $80

that must be a very strange feeling. I don't know how I will react when I have to sign my for the first time. It feels weird even thinking about it.

it really was a very strange feeling.
A good strange though
When you mentioned the signing your name, i remembered in my diary when i first liked kevin (yes, this was when i was like 16) i did the whole pretending to write my name if i was married to him.
I have to find that

I used to do that with Lorenz Tate and Devon Sawa's last names!! (yes, i had a very BROAD spectrum of love interests)
but i hate FH's last name... so i've given up that custom (though you can call me Ms. Pitt if you like )

Will do, Mrs. Pitt!
I did that with Devon too, I think. But mainly with Jonathan Taylor Thomas.

I got this post card, too, and I didn't call them because it seemed like they were a scam. It just seemed weird that Smithtown would send this thing. I wanted to call the school and see if they knew about it.

I think they mainly just wanted to get you to buy it (maybe if it were like $20)...
I hope if it were a scam, smithtown would let us know about it.... but then again.. it's smithtown. They didn't get my credit card #, or new address or anything, so i think i'm safe... most of my friends just tossed it though.

Did you get a tingly feeling when you did it? I had to fill out the paperwork for my DJ today and had to write our first names and 'married' last name to be introduced!
