I just spoke to my bridal salon and

My gown is not coming in until May 10. Is that enough time?? I mean there is nothing I can do about it, but why is this happening? I ordered my gown in August of last year to make sure this didnt happen.. GRRRRR> i am so angry right now..

Meanwhile, both mom's ordered there gowns in late Jan and they are in..

My BM's ordered their gowns in Nov, and they come in next week.

You have almost 2 months for fittings - that should be enough time.

I could understand why youa re upset, but you have plenty of time for your fittings.

That's plenty of time. Just setup your first fitting now so that you won't have to wait when the dress does get here.

My dress came in in Feb and I had my first fitting last week (couldn't get in any sooner). I go back again next week. I think that's all I'm going to need, it fit pretty well.

I know exactly how you feel!!

I ordered my dress last April and it's not in yet, should be here April 10; exactly 8 weeks before my wedding!

I was upset too, but it's really enough time for fittings. It's not like you're going to be wearing it before then!

WHAT? Why? I thought it was supposed to come in originally in March - what is with the holdup? You will still have plenty of time for alterations , but how annoying!

my dress just came in and i'm in June. 2 months is more than enough time. you'll be fine!

Oh, that's plenty of time.You won't start fittings until 4-6 weeks before.

thanks for making me feel better ladies.. it is just that i wanted to see my dress ya know?? It is not even in the store for me to see a sample..

I understand. My wedding is 2 weeks after yours and i have my fitting next week b cim off from work for Spring Break. The salon was like'WOW thta is really early to book your first fitting' But i explained that since i was off from work, i wanted ot fit it in so.... obviously if they think April 13 is too soon, you are FINE

Why is it taking so long???

I ordered my dress in Decemeber and it is in already. It was supposed to come in May.

You def have enough time. I am not doing any fitting till May
