My registry!!!! FH and I went to bed bath and beyond yesterday and spent about 3 1/2 hours. We still need to add more things and begin our registry at Macy's as well. We both hate to shop so it was annoying and fun at the same time.
Did anyone put an item or items on their registry that is expensive and think no one will buy them?

my mom forced me to open a registry at bloomingdales since she dislikes BBB. so out of spite i registered for a decorative figurine (ugly as hell) $18,500. i showed her the other day, she made me remove it. On my invites only BBB will be listed. (I won)

put anything you want on your registry - people can chip in or just choose not to buy it

Yeah that is what my FH said. so we put a towel spa on. Hope someone buys it.

yea my mom said that people were telling her to tell me to register at bloomies and macys instead. ....the same people that are cheapppppp as fk and would get me a blender and call it a day.
my om and i came to the conclusion that it wouldve been chepaer to buy my entire registry 2 times over than to have a stinkin shower

Yay Congrats on your registry!! We didn't really put anything too expensive on our registry, because I have a guilty conscience and for some reason I feel bad when people spend money on me/buy gifts. Even our china is really cheap... $199 for 8 sets when it is on sale.

we registered for a TemperPedic mattress. i think it cost $3,000. we don't expect anyone to buy it, but you get money off items left on your registry after to date of your wedding, so thats why we added it. although FH said, you never know how generous someone may be.

We put everything we wanted on the registry be it expensive or not. Our reasoning was if no one purchased it for us we could always purchase it for ourselves at later date.

yeah, my only problem with putting everything we want on is, what if people buy the 'extra expensive' things we want but not the 'necessary things' we need?
