I just want to get married already! (Rant, sorry)

I realize I don't have a right to complain being that I just got engaged on Chirstmas and lots of other women have waited much longer, but I can't deal with the stress anymore. Always having to call and talk to this person and that person and fighting about decisions. I know I shouldn't complain because I'm not even paying for the wedding, but spending this much money on a party that's only going to last a few hours is ridiculous. If I had to pay for my wedding myself, my FH and I would be going to city hall tomorrow. I don't even want a wedding anymore, I just want to be Mrs. Sean Neal right now!

Alright....so maybe I do still want a wedding, but I think the thrill in planning it has faded some. At first I was excited about making all the decisions about my wedding, now I just want to check things off my list. I want that day to be here already. Time is moving toooooo slow!

Sorry for the rant, I spent the day planning and shopping with my family and it didn't go so well.

But the good news is I get my boys back tommorrow!

I understand. I've been engaged for a year a half now and we still have 9 months to the wedding. If we didn't need the time to spend the money we would have gotten married much sooner. I'm so done with planning too. At least you don't have too much longer to go. It'll fly by.

I hear you. We got engaged in 9/04, so we are just at the point where we want to get it done. The plans are done. I just want it here and now.

Sweetie, its ok to feel ovewhelmed at times...try waiting appx 5 years for your bf to propose and then another year to plan...sometimes I would really lose it! But I got over it...you have 2 more
months to go! Cheer up!

I can understand totally........ it gets soo stressful and fighting over decisions *****!! There should ge a way that it stays happy if folks would just cooperate!!

You are still at the beginning of the engagement so you are feeling overwhelmed, which is how we all felt! Once you get most of the big things out of the way, you will be able to relax and enjoy it. I was stressed in the beginning and now that most things are done, I am sitting back and completely loving being engaged! Lots to look forward to and this is the only time in my life I get to go thru this so I am at a very happy place!
