Hi everyone, it's me Sabrina (missgwife). I haven't posted in a while mostly lurking every now and then.
Well, here the deal on July 6, 2006 I was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer.
I was also told that this form of Cervial Cancer is very rare and called Small Cell.
July 14, 2006 I had my first appointment with a Dr. Carol Brown (whom had now become my new bestfriend)![]()
at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, she then inform me that the cancer may have spread to my Uterus. She did another biopsy, that show that it HADN'T SPREAD TO MY UTERUS. (THANK YOU GOD)
On July 17, 2006 I had a CT scans and MRI both can back fine. (THANK HIM AGAIN)
On July 20, 2006 Dr. Brown called me to say that the Cancer remain in my Cervix (that's a good thing) and that I would be meeting with Dr. Paul Sabbatini (my other new bestfriend)
the Oncology to explain my treatments.
On July 26, 2006 I met with Dr. Sabbatini and he explain to me that I will need to have a Hysterectory and Chemo.
Dr. Brown had explain to him that I will be getting married Labor Day weekend and he said that I will be having my surgery on July 31, 2006, and then start chemo and the wedding in Sept.
This is so much to take in all at once, so you can only imagine how I feel.
But I always believe that God has a plan for each and everyone of us.
My steps are ordered by him, and I just have to follow them.
So, tomorrow morning at 11:30 am please say a Pray for me and my family.
My FH Gary as been my rock, my mom Anna, sister Dana and brother-in law Kevin are the most wonderful people you'll ever want to meet.
And my wonderful, sweet daugher Tamika.
She has been by my side since day one. Taking days off work to be with me when Gary or my sister couldn't. She's my heart.
I just wanted yo guys to know what's going on with me. I can use all the Prayer from each and everyone of you.
I would love to give a special Thank you to Cherese, Eliana, Sharene and Giselle for the calls and well wishes.
Oh be the way, I WILL BE GETTING MARRIED SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 3RD 2006.

Sabrina hun, althogh we speak on a constant basis reading this post still feel s like I have just now become aware of you situation. My heart,a nd my prayers go out to you as well as you family.
This is a very hard thing to go through in life, especially w/ everythign else going on in your life. The one thing I will tell you is that, the power of prayer is very strong. Things don't always work out in our favor b/c really its not alwasy supposed to go our way. We were put here to go through good, and bad, hard,and easy times. Its just up to us to prevail and get through. It helps us be aware of our strenghts and out weaknesses.
And you my dear are a storng women,and I KNOW you will prevail. You already know you can call me whenever,ans I can't wait to see you all dressed up on your wedding day

And this too shall pass. Remember what the Word says, you have already been healed because of the stripes He endured for those who LOVE him. I am already rejoicing because of your healing!
