I just went to a wedding at the Atlantica......
I just went to a wedding at the Atlantica in the Hamptons and it was so beautiful! If you are looking for a place on the water check this place out. The ceremony was held under a large tent and at the end of the isle we saw nothing but ocean and sand. It was beautiful to hear the waves in the backgroud during the ceremony. Instead of using unity candles, they both had different color sand and they poured it in to a large glass together.
For the cocktail hour, the staff quickly moved the chairs and brought in tables while people began taking food....and the food was soooooo good! It seemed like the staff was constantly coming out with more and more food.
After that we made our way into the ballroom that had a beautiful large chandelere above the dance floor and the ceiling was huge with blue and white drapes hanging around the place. It was so classy and elegant. Plus, we were able to walk out to see the water whenever we wanted.
They had a fish in a bowl with flowers above it as their centerpiece. They also had little silver dolfins holding the table number cards.
It was so beautiful!![]()
The only negative was that the food took SOOO long to come out....it seemed like people were served and they finished eating before our table even got our food. But, the food was amazing!
