I just went to a wedding at the Port Jefferson CC

oh my god!!! I am so excited....Our reception is at the Port Jefferson CC and we were lucky enough to be invited to a wedding there this past saturday so we got to see everything first hand! I took notes (discreetly of course) all night.....I know what I want and don't want, which is great. But now I can safely say that any question in my mind is gone. I know that its the perfect place for us. The food was fabulous and the site is so pretty! Yeah I am happy!!! I needed this.

Well, the view is amazing...breath taking. The room is simple but very pretty. The walls and ceiling are white. The dance floor is a light colored marble surrounded by carpeting where the tables are. Half of the rooms ceiling is cathedraled the other half is a normal height... It is rectangle with the far wall all windows and sliding glass doors. To the left and right are sliding glass doors as well....This all so you can see the Long Island Sound. When you walk out of the doors you are in the cocktail hour room which wraps around the main room. This room is white also-ceiling is catheraled and all glass and sliding glass doors so you can see the Sound and walk out onto the deck where there are tables to sit at.

The food was really great...both at the cocktail hour and the reception. The service was good too. They seemed to be short staffed at the cocktail hour though....the owner actually came out the clear tables. The manager actually talked to Fh and I and said they had a problem clearing the cocktail hour. I am assuming they did not have enough people working. The manager said it would not happen at out wedding. On the whole though it was a beautiful place!

You have FM...I am getting married there August 15th..so I have a bunch of questions if you do not mind sharing your notes
