i keep going back and forth

So last night before bed FH goes to me...
I have a serious question to ask you...

He asked me what would i rather have a higher end wedding band ( tiffany & co) and a smaller wedding day gift or a smaller (less expensive) wedding band and an extravagant wedding gift....

I had to think about it for a while because im a tiffanys girl through and through... (always have been) I just Love that little blue box ( its my wedding color and my cake is based on it) but i figured for our 5 year anniversary he could get me that ring... we only have ONE wedding day and there will only be ONE wedding day gift...

Should i take the ring or tell him to spend a little less on it now and get me a nicer piece for DOJ.... i dont know what i want....

Tiffany is GReaaaaat BUT you can find wedding bands and rings that are replicas of theirs just without the name LoL.. I say get the awesome wedding gift!

wedding gift???? ooo, what do you think it could be?

I'd go w the gift bc you can def upgrade that ring later if you want.

thats a toughie!
I understand your love with tiffany! BUT - if you know you will get that ring you have your eye on eventually (5 yr anniv) it might be worth waiting for and getting a bigger DOJ instead. and that way in 5 years you will have both!
I would have to think long and hard too though!

GIFT!! Like you said, on your 5 year mark you can get the ring you really want!!

I would go with the ring of your dreams only because you will wear it every day. FH and I aren't exchanging wedding day gifts and spending that money on an awesome honeymoon.

So maybe I'm bias lol.. but what kind of gift? like jewelry?
