does any1 HATE there inlaws to be. personally i have strong hateful feelings for my soon to be mother in law and the brother and wife of my boyfriend. especially the wife..hate doesnt even describe how i feel for them due to things they have done to me in the past. my bf is not very close with them either but obviouly b/c it is his family he deals with it..i know that i will never like them but how do i not let it interfer with my relationship..does any1 else feel this way?

I don't HATE them persay because they are generally decent to me, but I HATE the way they treat JT and I HATE how they are. Does that make sense? They are just miserable people and you can feel yourself shriveling sometimes from their misery when you are in their presence. BUT this is the man I am marrying, and I have known about his family from the get go, so I make the best of it and try to bring a little life to them. To their credit, they have come a long way since JT and I first started dating. I think there is hope for them in the long run, but they are not the kind of people that I will want my children to spend too much time with.

So sorry to hear that you are going through this. My advice - pick your battles carefully. If it is something that can be ignored - ignore it but if something happens that crosses the line then you should confront the situation. Try not to bad-mouth (even when it happens to you) and try to let things roll off your shoulders.
