i kno this is early... but i was thinking....

i wanted to add bo-k charms for my grandparents (4) but then i was thinking what about FH's family... then thats 4 more... 3 g-parents and an uncle... is 8 a whole-latta bo-k charms... or should i just have my family... ? do i have his... i dont like the idea of pictures set up at the RH....

Maybe you could just do one to remember them all, but I don't know much about these charms...

im jsut so undecided... but it kills me... really that i dont have my g-parents with me... especially my moms parents bc they were around a little longer (her dad) and he told me he cant wait until my wedding thats why i wanted to suprise my parents...but i dont kno if that means his family also....

I say every one ........but is it bad that when I read the healine of this thread and it said u were thinking that I giggled?

i think for the bride's bok its ok only 2 have ur family...its the ppl u grew up w or were ur parents' parents. maybe aside from pics at th rh u can find a diff way 2 honor his fam?

im sure if his family wants taht.. then fine.. but for me.. i kno my mom woudl be a mess if shes saw pictures of her parents up

I'm with you...i never met my grandpas. My one grandmothers died 15 and 10 years ago and i still miss them terribly. FH's grandfathers died but one died right before i met him and he was really close to him and his grandma who we were both close to just died this year, his last living grandmother has dementia...long story short, im doing a special bo-k charm in the shape of a heart to remember all of them as well as my aunt who passed. It's not a picture of each of them but it will remind me of them on that day.

thats why im not sure... bc FH loved his grandparents and i dont want his family to think like i dont want their family with me also.... why did i have to start thinking of this

If your carrying the bo-k then I think it's cool if you just do charms for the people that are special to YOU.
There's nothing wrong with that!
I say carry them down the aisle with you if it's important to you (and we know it is)
