I also dumped DIY invites....too much of a headache.

i'm not doing any of that stuff, no programs, no menus, no cry packs, no slipper basket, no bathroom basket, no I DO/WE DO letter, may possibly do table #'s, but that's it, and that's only so we have pics of the cat around

well unfortunately for a couple of months i was so unmotivated and now got back into it with 4 months left...The problem is that i really wanted a cake from colette peters but you have to order it at least 6 months in advance, and at my 6 month mark i just wasn't getting anything done. Now its too late i mean i can call and try but with may being so popular, i didn't see it happening

I know i should, theres also that part of me that is saying not to spend that much on a cake hahahaha but ill call to see if its even possible. But i still plan on call other cake vendors to get one

I do know that as i get closer to the wedding, there will be other things i won't have time for other things i wanted to do. Thats why i am hoping to get all the bigger things done so that would leave me 3 months for the small details, but lets see

No groom's cake..never found it important enough to look into.

Really don't find church programs useful either. My family all knows each other and our friends do not care about what my Grandmother's name is lol

Denise!! He may not be Colette Peters BUT Jay from Cakes by Jay is AMAZING!! I met with him last week about doing our cake and after much begging (to my parents ) we booked him. His work is INCREDIBLE. He's won a few Food Network challenges and I can tell from the small tasting I got that it will be WELL worth the money we're shelling out.

If Colette doesn't work out, you should definetly check him out!
