I know Everybody Raves About Barron's But...

... I just HAVE to add my 2 cents


I went to Barrons at Tri-County a few weeks ago to pick out a head piece.

I told him what I was looking for (just simply put 'I'm looking for a headpiece') LOL

Now... before I get into this - there is a little bit of back story. I've gone headpiece shopping many times - very unsuccesfully I don't know why, but I always manage to have a panic attack when I'm stuck in a snooty bridal shop and the old crabby woman behind the counter says 'ok, pick one' I even had a woman grab my dress off the rack in front of FH and ask if that was the dress I was wesing the day of so she could match it up with a piece...I've actually RAN full speed out of bridal shops crying a few times.

So at Barron's he asked me to describe my dress... I told him who made it and that it had color in it - he knew the exact dress I was talking about down to the beading... the detail on the train.. the cut... everything. I was FLOORED!!!

He said to me 'I have the perfect tiara for you - it needs to be higher in the center to draw the eyes up... I recommend this one and of course... THIS one!'

Now I've been to countless high end shops that tell me to 'pick one' I go to a flea market, and get the most wonderful service I've received from any vendor thus far!!!

I got a beautiful Swarvski crusted Tiara for 140 bucks!!! It was the first one he recommended and he even put in on my head properly.

I don't know if I even need to, but I'm totally going back this weekend to see if there is anything else I can buy from this man!!! LOL

Definitely my very favorite vendor yet!!

i'm going tomorrow to order my veil! yay!! now i don't feel so bad that i don't have a swatch....it seems like he'll know anyway! lmao!

Yes he does take his headpieces very seriously lol it was cute - I'm super glad he was so helpful ugh.. this was very hard for me after the many panic attacks lol I was almost expecting another one!!

I didn't get a pic yet!! I haven't taken it out of the box because I told FH he cant see any aspect of my DO 'look' hahahaha I'm torturing him since he's such a girl :p

I know just what you mean! DH and I were impressed that the man was not pushy at all. I purchased my veil there and he didn't try to get me to buy anything else

Yea they are awesome.

I love that man. LOL. The one that works there. He is hard to understand but when I described my dress and stuff, he helped right away. And the prices are phenomenal!
